A Blue Christmas

I always tend to get all of my same old red and silver decorations for Christmas.
This year, I am looking for something a little different.

Hot Peppermint Mocha Shots



Ingredients:
1 vanilla bean or 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup water
3/4 cup Peppermint Mocha Flavor Nestle Coffee-Mate Liquid Coffee Creamer
3 ounces Nestle Toll House Chocolatier 53% Cacao Dark Chocolate Baking Bar
Whipped cream

Instructions:
CUT vanilla bean in half lengthwise.
Using back of knife, scrape along inside of vanilla bean to collect seeds.

HEAT water to boiling in small, heavy-duty saucepan.
Add seeds from vanilla bean or vanilla extract; heat for 1 minute.
Reduce heat to medium.
Add Coffee-mate and chocolate
Whisk until smooth, slightly thickened and hot.

DIVIDE mixture between 6 small coffee cups or tall shot glasses
Top with dollop of whipped cream.
Serve immediately.

This might be my pick me up after shopping all morning!

Thanks for Giving me these Mantel Ideas

I was looking for some Thanksgiving mantels ideas
and found these gems!

I love making things with paper!
So, this is the perfect craft for me!
This is a great and inexpensive way to decorate.
All you need is a few cylinder vases and
rice paper or vellum.
Use double stick tape and instantly you have a new look!
You could exchange the paper later for Christmas vellum!

Drink your Thanksgiving Dessert!

This sounds so good!


Pumpkin Pie Martini
Mix 1 oz. Vanilla Vodka,
½ oz. Licor 43,
1 oz. pumpkin liqueur,
½ oz. Bailey's Irish Cream,
a splash butterscotch Schnapps
and ice
Shake, then pour and sprinkle with ¼ tsp. pumpkin pie spice.
For added "pie" effect,
rim the glass with fresh lemon juice
and crushed graham crackers.

Fun and Spooky Halloween Party

Well, Halloween has come and gone!

I have to say it went by too fast!

made for a great display.......this would be good for any candy party!
