DIY Champagne Markers

So, I was trying to come up with a unique idea for the age old
champagne glass charm.
This is what I came up with.
Countdown to New Years!
You know....10....9....8....7....
If you are on a budget after the holidays
this is the perfect DIY project for your New Years parties!
And the best thing is that I didn't spend a dime!
These are plastic champagne glasses
that I had left over from a child's birthday party.
You could use these on glass as well.
You would just need a few dots of
low heat hot glue on the bottom of the glass.
Do not over do the glue though!
I would just use 2 or 3 dots of glue.
Then it peels off nice and easy when you are finished.

What do you need?
1. Pattern scrapbook paper
2. Solid colored paper
3. Champagne glasses
4. Numbered stickers

What do you do?

1. Using the bottom of the glass as your template
draw a circle around the bottom of the glass
onto your patterned paper
3. Cut out the circles
(you will get 12 circle from a 8 1/2 x 11 sheet)
4. Cut circles on solid paper with
a 1 7/16" hole punch
5. Attach the numbered stickers
on each solid circle punch.
6. Glue the solid circle to the right
outside edge of the patterned paper.
7. Place the circle inside the bottom of the
champagne glass.

Note: If using a plastic champagne glass
the paper fits right inside without glue.
If you are using glass you will need glue
as stated above.
