Well, summer is winding down and school is starting
for us next week.
I was looking through Pinterest last night
for hours...and hours....loving all of the beautiful
and fun ideas and came across this project.
Stars in Jars!
What you need:
Mason Jars
Glow in the Dark Paint
Wooden sticks or small paint brushes
What to do:
Dip your stick or brush in the paint
Splatter inside the jar
That is all!
This would be so fun for my kids rooms
or for a sleep over party craft!
such a fun activity for a camping party!
ReplyDeleteGreat find! I'm with Susan...great idea for a camping party!

What type of paint did you use? I am anxious to try this project and I don't have any lying around. A quick check on Amazon.com did not yield awesome results.
ReplyDeleteAny suggestions?
Any glow in the dark paint should work.
DeleteHope that helps!

ReplyDeleteYou could make it during the day. You can see the paint splash. It will just not glow.
DeleteThanks for stopping by!
Where did u find the different color paint? All I am finding is the regular greenish yellow one. Or did u add food coloring?
ReplyDeleteYou should be able to find the paint at your local hardware or craft stores. You can also look online.
DeleteThanks!

ReplyDeleteThank you so much for stopping by! I have sent you an invite to join! have fun creating your boards!
DeleteThis seems like it would glow longer using the glow in the dark paint instead of breaking open a glow stick. Can you put glitter in with the paint as well? Going back to visit my grandkids and this would be a great project...Love it!
ReplyDeleteDid not glow for me...and you have to put it in the sun after 20 minutes?? They all do this?
