2 inch Circle Cutter Tutorial

I am often asked...
"How do I cut my printables into round or scalloped circles?"
"Do I have to cut all of these by hand?"

I always assume that everyone knows...
Well, I am here to help you make some beautiful
cupcake toppers and accents for your parties!

1.  Print out your 2 inch circle printables
and trim off the bottom edge.

2.  Next take your handy 2 inch Circle Cutter,
turn it over like so....

3.  Center one of the squares along the bottom row
inside your cutter....

4.  Cut into a scalloped circle and continue
until all 4 circles have been cut along the bottom row.

5.  Next, trim the bottom row and repeat cutting
with your circle cutter.

Repeat all of the steps until you have your entire sheet cut!

There you go!
I hope that helps all of you create some beautiful items for your parties!
Happy Cutting!

Neighborhood Fall Picnic and Movie

My neighbor and I recently hosted an outdoor movie night and
had so much fun getting together with friends.

I hope you will enjoy the details and all of the colors of fall.
All of the printables here are available for upload for free!

Pumpkins, bails of hay, not so scary scarecrows
lined the movie watching area.  We added some candles holders on
Sheppard hooks that lined the area and gave a soft glow.
The candles gave a perfect light not to get in the way of the movie.

We served the typical movie snacks mix with some fall treats:
M&Ms, Gummy Bears, Popcorn,
Harvest Trail Mix, Caramel Apples and Warm Apple Cider.

I found these fun little individual containers at my local restaurant supply store.
Look for one in your area...They are fabulous!

Individual containers of M & M's and Gummy Bears

Nothing like good 'ol Graham Crackers, Chocolate, and Marshmallows...
I made a signed that read
"Neighbors have S'Mores Fun"
and attached Smokes Kit Labels
to individual bags.

My neighbor made the best Apple Cider!

We served them up in mason jars.
I made felt koozies attached with a little button.
Super easy craft!
I will be making these again!

What tastes good with Apple Cider?
Caramel Apples of Course!

I purchased some craft spoons and stamped "enjoy"
on the the ends.  Another easy craft with big impact!

We filled up on sweet and salty treats and enjoyed
the movie "Up"!

Movie Patrons....a.k.a Best Friends!

I hope you all have a great start to fall and all
of the fun occasions that we can celebrate!

Witches Play Date

Halloween is one of my very favorite holidays!
This year we celebrated by hosting
a Witches Play Date!

My girls invited a few friends over after school
for a few Tricks and definitely some Treats!

Here are the fun details:
The table was set with green polka dot paper
that served as place mats.
Place settings were adorned with mini witches hats
That I found at Joann's.
I found these adorable Utensil holders
at The Cracker Barrel Restaurant!

Menus:
Pesto, Turkey,Provolone and Bacon Sand"witches"
Batty Fruit Skewers
Veggies and dip

The little witches decorated their hats with
rhinestones, glittery spiders, cobwebs and
colorful pom poms.

Afterwards they enjoyed a few treats....
Cupcakes, Cookies, Lollipops and Candy...Oh my!

One of my favorite creations for this party by far was the
witches petticoat hanging above the desserts table!
Yes....that is an umbrella!
Super easy....Tutorial to come soon!

Sweets and Treats...

These cookies were amazing and were
custom designed to match my printable
set from Etsy shop A Cookie Jar.

I love using the Starbucks drink glasses!
So, I decided to "witch" them up a bit by adding witches hats on top.
I just hole punched the hat and inserted the straw!

Lollipops and Colorful Green Sixlets
in stripped black and white containers
served as take home favors.
Don't you love those little containers!
Find your own at Etsy shop In the Clear!

We finished up the party with a witches photo shoot.
How cute are these little witches?

next year....who can wait that long really?
It is still September....I could fit another party in right?
