Halloween Hot Stuff!

I was trying to decide on drinks for
our Halloween party and when I came across these
labels at Living Locarto...
Are you kidding me?
So cute!
Hot Chocolate Bar!
You can find the cups at your local grocery store.
Print the labels here..
I decided to wrap a piece of black cardstock
around the hot chocolate packets
and put the circle label on top of that.
I might do it a little different for the party..
stay tuned!
For the bar...
Peeps ghosts
Peeps Pumpkins
Chili Powder...I am in Texas...HeHe
I can wait to have one of these keeping me warm
while trick or treating!

Glow Stick Ghost

I love the idea of using glow sticks for decorating!
We made these last year on Halloween night
and the kids had so much fun with them!
All you need is:
White Balloons
Glow sticks
Activate your glow stick first
Place the glow stick in the balloon
Inflate and knot the balloon
Position the knot at the top
Draw a face on the balloon
Drape the cheesecloth over the balloon
Cut a small hole and push the knot through
Secere with a string and hang in the trees!
These look so cool blowing in the wind!

Marshmallow Candycorn

I was trying to come up with some easy recipes
for the kids on Halloween and you can't help but start thinking...
"What would Bakerella do?"...without the baking.
I love to bake but, I want something that I can make
So I came up with this...

This is what you will need.....

Melt the chocolates as directed on the package....

Cut the marshmallow into a triangle and put it on a lollipop stick....

Dip into the Yellow chocolate........

Dip into the Orange chocolate....

Instant Candy Corn on a stick!

Halloween Chandelier DIY

This is my attempt at the
Pottery Barn Kids Bat Chandelier.
In person you can not see the hanging lines....
the camera really shows them.
It was a fun project to make with my kiddos this week!
You can make your own too!
All you need is:
needle point rings
fishing line
black paper
black pom poms
black wire for the spider legs
I made this project for about $10!
The one in the magazine is $59!

I am a "Fan"!

I am a big "fan" of the little details of an event!
I am loving this wedding fan!
Wouldn't this be fun with different pictures of the couple together!
Each one could be different or at least have 5 or so different pictures.
This wedding was featured at My DIY Wedding Day.
This couple blew up one of their favorite snapshots and
attached it to one side of a fan and the
ceremony details were included on the back!
Genius and so FUN!

Meet my new Peeps...

I love this idea!
I know that it may be hard to find these exact peeps this time of year but,
you can find different peep type marshmallows
with different themes throughout the year.
Like right now you can find Orange pumpkins!
Wouldn't those be pretty melted down for Halloween!
And I am sure there will be some
Red and Green marshmallows around Christmas!
Just another food that you can coordinate to your party theme!
