New Years Eve Glitz and Glam Table

Is everyone ready for your New Years celebrations?
Well, my table is set and ready to go!

I hope that you can find some inspiration in
my Glitz and Glam inspired look.

I started with red chargers
and my white and silver china.

At the top of each plate I place a mini top hat
embellished with a pearl and rinestnoe brouch.
Upon each plate I placed a printout of with the words to
Auld Lang Syne and a little silver bird.
I printed the song from Wedding Style Guide.

Do you have one of these mirrors around the house?

If so, put it down the center of the table like this.
It make the perfect backdrop for parties and shimmers
and shines when you place candles on top.

The centerpiece was inspired by these clocks!

These are actually tree ornaments!
What a fun tree that would make for new years!
I attached them to my candle holders and let them hang.

I added some candles and and some white Christmas balls
to complete the mirror runner.

I plan to use my labels for place settings and
through out the table.

I hope each and everyone of you have the best year in 2011!

Flurry of Fun

My daughters first grade class celebrated
with a holiday party last Friday.
After winning a giveaway on
Pocas Cosas
from Spaceships and Laserbeams,
my theme was set in motion.

Flurry of Fun!
Blue and white color scheme
set up the look of the party.

I couldn't believe it when I found material
that matched the colors of the printables!
I love it when stuff like that happens!

I had so much fun with the party!
Here are all of the details!

Main Sweets Table....

The cupcake display was my favorite item on the table!
I purchased 2 boxes and wrapped them in white paper.
I added some details with the ribbon, label, snowman on top.

Popcorn cones...
I made these out of the regular solo
drinking cones that you can buy in the store.
I attached a fun label and a inserted
a wooden skewers into a foam block
to hold up the cones.
I covered the foam in blue chocolate balls.

Snowballs...aka powdered sugar donuts

Snowflake cookies....

I found these mini lollipops
that matched the colors perfectly!

Cocoa to go
Served as party favors to take home.

I hope you enjoyed this

Centerpiece Love...

I will be the first one to admit it...
I cannot arrange flowers!
Maybe I should take a class.

With that said....
I think I could pull this one off.

I love the classic Christmas colors
of the red and white.

I might have to try this one!

Black and Yellow...Hello!

I love the colors of yellow and black together.
I think the color combination is so strikingly beautiful.
By using touches black it makes it easy to incorporate
the spring color of yellow any time of the year.
This would make a beautiful display for a wedding,
baby shower, or wedding shower!
Not to mention birthday celebration!
