Capri Sun Catch a Wave Party

This weekend I held my Capri Sun
End of Summer party for
HouseParty.com.

I kept everything simple and fun
I used a colorful polka dot backdrop for my table
These colors were carried out onto the snack table.

The menu was simple
Coral Chips were Cheetos
Surfin' Snacks were Chex Mix
Party Popcorn and
Corndogs served straight up!

I always try to display the food
in a way that is appealing to the eyes.
Food is always fun on a stick so Corndogs
made a perfect food to display upright!

The Drinks were of course Capri Suns!

Capris Sun sent me a party package
that included Pencil Pouches, Magnets, and
Frisbees for all
I added in a few extras to top it off.

The labels were from one of my new
favorite etsy stores M Bradley Designs
Check out all her printables here!

The kids enjoyed a fun filled day
to end the summer!

I had so much fun hosting and can't wait
to host another party for House Party!

You should all give it a try!

Zero Calorie Dessert Table

Try not having dessert at all!
This is a great little twist on the
classic dessert table that we have
all become accustomed to!
Check out these fabulous spa
bath and body goodies!
They have the look and smell of baked treats and confections!
This idea comes to us from Nonpareil.

How fun would this be for a girls night in spa party?
I think this could be fun for all ages!
You can find all of the recipes to make your own
body treats such as bath salts, lip balm, sugar scrub
and much, much more!
Those Cupcake Bath Bombs are to die for!
Love them!
Not only does Nonpareil provided the directions
for making these little treasures,
they have provided all of the downloads
to go with it here!
Including the cupcake boxes and
of the labels you see pictured!
I love this no calorie dessert idea!

Elegant and Gothic Halloween

Well, sorry I was absent yesterday!
It is only the 3rd week of school and
my daughter is already home sick!
I hate the school germ factory!
Now that everyone is in bed for the night,
I have been catching up on my blog reading!
Thank goodness for a break.

Looks like we are all getting into the
festive Halloween mood.
There are so many good ideas!
I found this one in Family Circle magazine
today when I was sitting in the doctors office.
I love the classic colors of Black and White
with accents in silver!

Celebrate with Pie

Happy Labor Day!
Hope everyone is enjoying their time off
and spending time with family.
We have had a great weekend.
I will be spending my morning with my girls
in the kitchen making these pocket pies for a BBQ tonight.
My girls are so excited!
They love making these....
I think it reminds them of cutting sugar cookies.
They are so easy to make and everything
is sweeter in smaller packages!
All you need is this tool!

Find them at your local Williams Sonoma stores.
Follow this link for a video instruction.
Enjoy!

Old Fashion and Partiotic

Looking for some ideas for celebrating the long
Labor Day weekend?
Well, check out these lovelies from
Olivia at Field Journal.
These are pictures from her 4th of July celebration
that could be used for any patriotic celebration!

She designed all of the paper details...

The "Set Up"...can't get more classic than this!

I love this idea....I will be using it soon!

And of course, DESSERT!
Custom cone labels that read "Sweet Land of Liberty"
LOVE IT!

Makes me want to sit on the porch with my hair blowing
in the wind drinking a cold one!
What are you plans for the weekend?
Any traditions?
