Fakesciles Favors

This very cute idea is the work
Genevieve at Celebrate Today!

All the cuteness of a Popsicle without the mess!
Super cute favor for summer parties!
I love the use of the cupcake stand too!

Remember the old frozen Rocket Pops?
I think these would be cute
as 4th of July favors
if you could add
layers of red, white and blue
Bubblegum balls or Jellybeans!
I better start looking for gum this week!
And it is the gift that keeps giving
since you can use these again to make popsicles at home!
So sweet!

Bow inspired Bridal Shower

Ok...I have to admit that I am not
a big "bow" person.
Bow's just aren't my thing...
but wait...
or are they?
This bridal shower sweets table was
"Bow" inspired and just right!
The ladies over at Couture Cakery styled this event.
The preppy colors of Pink and Green
are such great combinations for a bridal shower.
This is to coordinate with her wedding.
And listen to this ladies...
The bride is going to have a cake
at EVERY table....ALL 20 OF THEM!

I love the material used to tie in the color scheme...
Hydrangea the subtle pink....
Fabric wrapped vases with pretzels...
Of course tied up in bows...

So, I guess I am not a "Bow" hater after all
Couture Cakery!

Midnight Wedding Snack

As your guest are enjoying an evening of
dancing and mingling, here is a cute idea of
serving a wedding midnight snack.

I love these mini stacks of baby pancakes drizzled with maple syrup!
These could easily be passed around.
Your guests could grab a stick, eat and keep on parting the night away!

So, what do you think?
These would be so fun for a girls night too!
What a sweet surprise!

Ice Ice baby

Ok, so the ice sculptures of old are not
very hip.

sculpting ice began when he was 18!

1920's Style Birthday Bash

This past weekend my husband and a good friend
celebrated their 40th birthdays!
We decided on a 1920' style speakeasy/Prohibition party.
We hired a casino company to run the gambling portion of the party.
If you are in Dallas and ever need a casino company
look no further than Ante Up!
They were great!
On with the party....
The Guests of Honor...
Photo Booth...
We had a blast with the frames.
One of my favorite pictures below is one of my
best friends pregnant belly in the frame!
I used wooden crates for the centerpieces.
I first stacked them on top of each other
then filled them with shredded paper
and placed moonshine bottles inside.
I used clip art to create all of the labels
and hung pearls from the crates.
By the way...the bottles are Carlos Rossi Sangria jugs!
Shady Lady Saloon...
One of my favorite labels!
Cocktail Tables and Florals...
Lamps and decor....
Sweets Table....
Cakeballs and Mini Desserts
Lemon Raspberry, Chocolate Kahlua, and Cheesecake
I made all of the dessert labels with Chandelier clip art.
Mason Jars...
These made for the perfect 1920's drinking glasses.
I made special drink labels for the glasses.
Party Goers...
We had so much fun and everyone looked amazing!
