Wipe Out Pool Party

Memorial Day was my daughters 2nd birthday and what better way to spend it than with friends and family! We had a water slide party and the kids...of all ages...had a blast! We kept the food simple since the party was at 3:30 by serving a veggie tray and fruit bowl! The kids goodie table outside had swim ring donuts a.k.a. powdered donuts, rice crispy treats, swedish fish, and of course goldfish. They even make starfish "goldfish" now! The kids filled the beach ball cups with lemonade or strawberry ice tea. All of the details are below and I hope that you to can host your own beach/pool/water themed party!

The Birthday Girl herself!

The invite.......I loved the cute little pink fish with a bikini on! They have blue fish too for all of you with boys!

Taylor's favorite Summer Treats Cake

Strawberries, Ice Cream, Popsicles,

and more Popsicles....Her true favorite!

Cake by Cooper Street Bakery!

Highly recommend if you are in the DFW metro area!

Kids table and chair backs.
I made the tablecloth from striped material I found at Joann's fabric with a cute little felt border! I tied up Lobsters, Crabs, Starfish and Seahorses with tulle to the backs of the chairs. The kids got a kick out of them and loved them so much they wanted to take them home! Who wouldn't want their own Seahorse?

I decorated the drink table with seashells and these very cute felt flip flops that I found at Hobby Lobby for only a $1! I tied up the utensils with ribbon and placed them in a decorated green tin bucket. I made a lollipop flower pot from a clay pot. I spray painted it and put foam dots all over, placed a piece of red styrofoam inside and instant lollipop pot! There was not one left! And lastly the birthday banner! This was so fun to make! There are so many cute Etsy stores that you can order these from BUT, I thought I would try it. It was easy to make an very affordable! I think I spent $5!

I found these beach ball cups at birthday in a box...
I think they were a big hit..not one left behind!!
Party favor buckets!
