Oh to be a kid again!

This amazing even was hosted by R. Jack Balthazar Events.

A movie themed premiere for an animated film featuring 3 distinctive "environments".

The first area was "Sunny Florida" featuring Oranges, Gerber Daisies, Seashells and Sand!

The tables were picnic tables with umbrellas to give that outside feel!

They were decorated by large Beach Buckets filled with Sand, Sun Hats, Sunglasses and more! All of the things you need in "Sunny Florida"!

The next area was a "Schoolhouse Cafeteria" theme. Long cafeteria tables were set up with arrangements in metal lunch boxes. The lunch boxes were filled with Wheatgrass, Apples, Daisies, Rulers, and Pencils. Very cute and inexpensive centerpieces!

The final area was the "Mad Scientist Lab". I absolutely love this idea! Tall glass cylinder vases filled with water then, they added blue plants and blue glass "bubbles". The best part about these were the Safety Glasses on the front! GENIUS! I love it! They also had smoking beakers on the cocktail tables! Think...Mad Scientist Party for a little boy! Or girl....I can't leave them out of course!

Boo Hoo Monday

Well, it is official my little girl is off to Kindergarten

and Mommy is having a hard morning!

I never fully realized just how time goes by so fast until now.

Is anyone else second guessing themselves?

Have I done enough?

Have I told her how proud I am?

Have I hugged her enough?

Have I told her how much I REALLY LOVE HER?

Anyone?

These are the moments that truly matter...we can plan parties all day long but,

these are the moments to remember and cherish forever!

Frozen Chocolate Souffles

(Recipe and picture via Kraft Foods)

Ingredients:

3 cups Milk
1 pkg. 8 oz. Jello Chocolate Instant Pudding
2 c. Thawed Cool Whipped Topping
16 Oreos finely chopped
8 Maraschino Cherries
8 - 8 to 9 oz. Paper Cups

Directions:

Pour milk and pudding in a medium bowl
Beat with a wire wisk 2 minutes
Gently stir in whipped topping
Spoon 2 tbls. chopped cookies into each of the 8 paper cups
Cover entirely with half of the pudding mix
Press gently with the back of a spoon
Repeat Layers
Cover with Foil
Freeze 5 hours or until firm
Remove from the freezer 15 minutes before serving
Peel away paper to unmold onto a serving plate
Top with a cherry!
